Refund policy

ReddUp Refund Policy

Effective September 4, 2026

ReddUp offers a 30-calendar-day money-back guarantee on an initial paid purchase. It applies to a one-time license or the first payment on a new monthly or yearly subscription. Renewal charges are handled under the separate rules below.

1. Paddle handles ReddUp orders and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our authorized reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for paid ReddUp orders and handles checkout, payment processing, taxes, receipts, subscription billing, cancellations, and refunds. ReddUp can help investigate a product or license issue and determines whether a request qualifies under ReddUp’s voluntary guarantee, but any approved refund is issued by Paddle to the original payment method where possible. ReddUp does not send refunds outside Paddle.

Your transaction is also governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy. ReddUp’s 30-day guarantee applies as written below. Mandatory rights are not limited, and if Paddle’s policy or mandatory law provides a more protective right, that more protective right also applies.

2. The ReddUp 30-day guarantee

You may request a full refund within 30 calendar days after either:

  • your initial one-time purchase of a ReddUp paid edition; or
  • the first payment on a new ReddUp monthly or yearly subscription.

The request must be submitted no later than the 30th calendar day after the charge. The voluntary guarantee applies to the initial paid purchase, not to each later renewal, plan change, or replacement purchase. We may reasonably limit repeated guarantee claims by the same purchaser for the same product where necessary to prevent abuse, without limiting mandatory legal rights.

3. Subscription renewal charges

Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. A renewal charge is not covered by ReddUp’s voluntary 30-day initial-purchase guarantee. We or Paddle will still review a renewal-refund request when:

  • the charge was duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorized;
  • a persistent material technical defect prevents the paid product from substantially functioning and is not resolved after reasonable troubleshooting;
  • applicable consumer law requires a refund; or
  • Paddle approves a refund under its own policy or discretion.

Submit a request promptly after discovering the issue and include the receipt or transaction identifier and enough detail to investigate. Never send a full payment-card number by email.

4. Cancellation is different from a refund

You may cancel a subscription at any time using the subscription-management link in your Paddle receipt or through the Paddle buyer portal at paddle.net. Unless Paddle or applicable law states otherwise, cancellation prevents the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You may continue using the paid edition through that period.

Canceling does not by itself refund a charge that has already been made. If you also want a refund, submit a separate refund request and explain why it qualifies under this policy, Paddle’s policy, or applicable law.

5. How to request a refund

  1. Open your Paddle receipt and choose the link to view the transaction or manage the subscription, or visit paddle.net.
  2. Choose the refund or transaction-support option and submit the request using the billing email from the order.
  3. For any request under ReddUp’s 30-day guarantee—especially a request made more than 14 days after purchase—also email [email protected] no later than the 30th calendar day so ReddUp can confirm eligibility and coordinate the refund with Paddle. Include the Paddle transaction or receipt identifier, billing email, ReddUp edition, purchase date, and a short statement that you are using the 30-day guarantee. Do not include payment-card details.
  4. If the issue concerns license delivery or how ReddUp works, describe the issue in that email so we can help or investigate.

ReddUp determines whether a request qualifies under ReddUp’s voluntary 30-day guarantee and, when it does, authorizes or coordinates that refund with Paddle. Paddle processes the refund and independently decides requests made under Paddle’s own policy or legal obligations. Processing time and the date funds appear depend on Paddle, the original payment method, and the financial institution.

6. Technical problems and failed delivery

If a paid license key does not arrive, first check the spam or junk folder for the billing email used at checkout. Then contact ReddUp so we can verify fulfillment and, where appropriate, redeliver or replace the key. We may ask you to try reasonable troubleshooting for a reported product defect. You do not lose a mandatory refund right by asking for technical help.

A temporary outage, unsupported file, user-device problem, or third-party service interruption does not automatically establish a material defect, but we will review the actual circumstances and any rights provided by law.

7. What happens after a full refund

When a full refund is approved, the corresponding paid entitlement and license end. Any undelivered license is suppressed. For a refund of the first subscription payment under ReddUp’s 30-day guarantee, ReddUp will ask Paddle to cancel the associated subscription so it does not renew; you should verify the canceled status in the Paddle buyer portal. You must stop using the refunded paid edition and delete or cease using its license key. Because ReddUp licenses work offline, a key that was already entered may not be disabled immediately; this does not preserve a right to use a refunded license.

8. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Please contact Paddle or ReddUp first so we have a fair opportunity to investigate and resolve a billing or product problem. A chargeback or other payment reversal may suspend or end the related paid entitlement while the dispute is reviewed. Nothing in this section limits a lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or improper charge.

9. Fraud and abuse

The voluntary guarantee does not cover fraudulent requests, deliberate abuse, violations of the ReddUp Terms, or attempts to retain or distribute a refunded license. We may provide relevant transaction and fulfillment records to Paddle or a payment provider when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud or a dispute, as described in the Privacy Notice.

10. Mandatory consumer rights

This policy adds to, and does not replace or restrict, warranties, cancellation rights, cooling-off periods, remedies for faulty digital products, or other consumer protections that cannot be waived under applicable law. Any exclusion or time limit in this policy applies only to the extent the law permits.
